We know that one of the hallmarks of a great community is providing walking access to schools, shops and parks. That is why we are very pleased to share that the municipal application for federal funding has been approved for a new trail system to link up with the existing Millbrook Valley Trail System, in downtown Millbrook.
The trail extension will extend from The Highlands of Millbrook community to downtown, via a link to Brookside St. and result in a connection to the downtown core, Medd’s Mountain, Millpond Park, the Fairgrounds, and the Millbrook Valley Trail System.
This project enhances The Highlands of Hillbrook’s accessibility to the rest of Millbrook, and improves the overall ‘walkability’ factor, a highly desired feature for residents.
